FABRICLIVE 86: My Nu Leng

“We spent a lot of time collecting music that has shaped our sets over the last year, as well as some classic iconic music that has inspired us. We are huge believers in the UK underground, and much of our mix is made up of every genre coming out of the UK. We wanted to do something that can be listened to over & over again.”

Conscious of their roots in UK bass culture, My Nu Leng’s sound has taken the underground by storm, as have their dark, energetic and. Offering an insight into grime, dubstep, drum & bass and garage, it is clear that My Nu Leng are firmly rooted in the rich musical heritage of their adopted hometown.

The duo released their forward-thinking breakthrough track ‘Masterplan,’ on Black Butter in 2014, and now they are bringing their diverse, incendiary sound to the FABRICLIVE series. A homage to their influences, it blends underground anthems with new and unreleased materials, including a new collaboration with Kahn, setting the tone for their high octane selections.

Keeping it fresh with a VIP version of Set It and unreleased contributions from Jus Now, T. Williams, Notion, SNØW and Dismantle, the timeless and impeccably curated mix demands a permanent place in the UK underground. FABRIC LIVE 86 is released on 18th March 2016 after a huge launch party on March 4th, alongside Breakage, Woz, NYTA, Jus Now and more.
