Four years ago, the first Strange Sounds From Beyond introduced a global style of music to Amsterdam. Today, it is a thriving music festival bringing together musicians and DJs from Agadez all the way to Riga.
Strange Sounds From Beyond, as the name suggests, is a wonderful combination of weird and unfamiliar sounds encompassing many different styles of music from around the globe. It’s a breeding ground for unorthodox artists you wouldn’t get the chance to see in the Dutch festival landscape. For people who are looking for something different and enlightening for the ears, it would be difficult to replicate the marriage of different backgrounds outside SSFB.
The event is a collaboration between Rush Hour, Red Light Radio & The Rest is Noise and if you are familiar with their reputation, you will know that their parties are not to be missed. We look forward to seeing you on this exotic journey through time, space and music from beyond.
