Bugged Out’s infamous Weekender returns for its fifth year in 2016, bringing some of the biggest names in house, techno and more to Butlins, Bognor Regis. With dancefloors, hidden parties, treasure trails and more winter antics to see off the January blues.
Returning regulars like Numbers head honcho Jackmaster, dubstep poster boy turned techno don Skream and the legendary DJ EZ are joined by new artists including Paranoid London and the highly revered Deetron. Eats Everything, Erol Alkan, Hannah Wants and the jackin’ Heidi also feature, along with Dusky, Julio Bashmore, Boddika, DJ Koze and more.
Mumdance, Novelist and rising star DJ Barely Legal promise to bring the bass, along with carnival selector and Girls Music head honcho Toddla T. House originator Armand Van Helden was also recently announced, along with the People Just Do Nothing’s pirate radio heroes, Korrupt FM.
Previews are usually the place for music journalists to select the best of a lineup, and Bugged Out have made that an incredibly difficult task this year. Beyond the incredible listing, Bugged Out’s special events promise only more hedonism. Artwork continues his Art’s House series at the Weekender, along with both Jackmaster and Bicep hosting pool parties.
