Held this year at Mote Park, Kent on September 12th, The Social Festival promises a great day of electronic music from its eclectic lineup. Spread across four stages and with a distinct focus on house and techno, headline titans like Marco Carola, Jamie Jones, Richie Hawtin and DJ Koze are bound to impress. Nic Fanciulli and Joris Voorn bring their ‘La Famillia’ b2b project from the White Isle to the Home Counties, accompanied on the Meadow Stage by Sasha, Solomon and Richy Ahmed.
Dubfire, Hot Since 82 and Berghain legend Rødhåd join Nic’s brother Mark Fanciulli on the Barn Stage, while George Fitzgerald and electronic music’s most talented oddball, Four Tet, are sure to draw crowds to the Social Club stage. With Jackmaster and Seth Troxler on the Bamboo Village stage, only Skream and Eats Everything are missing from the JESuS collective formed to take clubs by storm last year.
The Social clearly hopes to bring Ibiza to the Home Counties for a September afternoon before the summer finishes for good, and with a listing as exciting as this one, it’s going to succeed.
