Ceremony Festival: a 360° celebration of dance music

Held on 12th September at Finsbury Park, Ceremony Festival is another of the quality London events offered by the Found event series. Organised by the serial festival throwers Found Series, Ceremony is a 360 degree celebration of the sounds influencing British club culture. The lineup stretches from house to techno, through drum and bass, grime and more.

One of the most diverse London festival of the season, Ibiza dons The Martinez Brothers  join the legendary Armand Van Helden, Hot Natured boss Lee Foss and house gangster DJ Sneak.  JME and Skepta are sure to bring top draw grime to the party.

Beyond the main stage, which also hosts Shiba San and Artwork, the other six arenas are just as promising. Santé brings label mates Sidney Charles and Josh Butler to the Avotre stage. Tropical takes things urban, hosting grime originators like Plastician, Logan Sama and Preditah.

The Heritage stage, named after another of Found’s events, is distinctly garage, headlined by Todd Edwards and featuring Mike Skinner of The StreetsFoundation and Sunship. Johnny Banger’s Sports Banger brand, closely affiliated with Rinse FM and SCHL Records, hosts the VIP stage, headlined by Rinse mainstay Artwork.

London’s festival offerings are growing, and Found is perhaps the most reliable series at this movement. Ceremony Festival is not to be missed.

On 26th August, Ceremony also announced its incredible afterparty. Talking place from the end of the festival until 6am the next morning, Ceremony take over the Coronet Theatre‘s main auditorium to keep the party alive. The top secret lineup will be made up of a handpicked selection from 400 artists that have performed at Found’s 5 festivals this summer. It promises to be large, and with afterparty tickets currently at just £5, there’s no excuse not to get involved!
