FOUND’s Born and Bred returns to Haggerston Park for its second year, this time teaming up with pioneering London station Rinse FM to continue pushing the current and future sounds of London. A full two-day weekender on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June, FOUND have given themselves room to bring even more big names, including Newham Generals, iLoveMakonnen, Loefah, Murlo, Logan Sama, P Money, Paleman, Wookie, Zed Bias and more.
Born and Bred seeks to celebrate London’s rave-inspired dance music and soundsystem culture, from dub and jungle to garage, dubstep, grime and beyond. Having been in this very game for over 20 years, Rinse has been pushing the sound of the capital with its broadcasts, parties and record label. Rinse has played a crucial role in the rise of Newham Generals, Sir Spyro, Benga, Youngsta and the Boxed collective. Always keen on exposing new sounds reshaping dance music, PC Music’s A.G. Cook, Bristol’s Hodge and Endless DJs Kamixlo and Lexxi will also feature, along with Rinse DJs Josey Rebelle and Sam Supplier.
Born and Bred stretches beyond the London sound, however, bringing Atlanta rapper ILoveMakonnen, and other international DJs who have been influenced by the UK’s bass-driven sound, including Lotic and Laurel Halo.
