Lente Kabinet Festival 2019: a spring in Amsterdam’s step

Lente Kabinet

Head out of the busy dance music capital on 26th-27th May to Amsterdam’s northern hinterlands of Het Twiske.

Lente Kabinet is an intimate, eco-friendly festival filled with art installations, live acts, in-depth debates and music you constantly want to Shazam but can’t find.

Sounds include a line-up of local artists, Antal, Job Jobse, Woody’92, Upsammy, plus little-known and up-coming names such as Jayda G, Lena Willikens, Samo DJ, Mall Grab and better-known Peggy Gou, Ross From Friends and Tedd Torje.

This year, immersive visual experiences include Steven De Paven’s setup, which promises to transform the visitor into the star of the show; as well as a multi-coloured LED spectacle from Nikki Hock. Expect explosive conceptual performances by ARIE DE FIJTER & XENIA PEREK, absurd realities from LOUI MEEUWISSEN, and an intriguing Gentrify Yourself Workshop held by the Question Collective.

Then it’s time to take a step back, slow down and surrender to the weekend with special meditation sessions from ANNIKA KAPPNER to be at one with nature, sound, technology, and the cosmos.

If that weren’t enough to cram into a pensive party weekend, you can get involved in talks held by Amsterdam’s culture centre Pakhuis de Zwijger on important topics such as love in the city and sustainable doing/ thinking.

Get on your bike, open your mind and we’ll see you there.
