Lost Village is a 4,500 person festival set in the heart of Lincolnshire. When they say ‘lost’, the organisers actually mean it. The festival location is never precisely revealed, and part of weekend actually involved discovering the festival site.
Lost Village is more than a bit of an adventure in some woods though. With DJ Koze, Tales of Us, Jamie Jones, Annie Mac, Four Tet, Ben Pearce, Dusky, Jackmaster, and Totally Extinct Enormous Dinosaurs [DJing] all offering sets, this is going to be a festival remember, both for the quality of the acts and its unusual set-up.
Watch out for Tourist, whose brand of electronica has been hyped by Annie Mac and will bring some pretty soulful vibes (the track Patterns with Lianne Le Havas is a case in point). Roosevelt edge toward some indie music if the sudden need to hear a guitar, albeit run through some synth peddles, takes you.
