On the shores of the idyllic bay of the idyllic fisherman’s village of Schinos, Odyssia presents a seven day showcase of some of the world’s most highly revered artists, including DJ Harvey, Gilles Peterson, Benji B, Jeremy Underground, Midland and more.
Hand built from Sweedish wood, the legendary beach bar of Cariocas was transformed eighteen years ago from it’s original incarnation as the local village grocery store. Referred to as both a paradise and a musical haven, it has played host to the likes of Frankie Knuckles, Joe Claussell, David Morales, Ron Trent, Osunlade behind it’s hallowed decks.
With an intimate capacity of just 2000, the Beach Bar stretches out onto the unspoiled shores. The beach sessions and boat parties continue long after sunset, becoming the perfect place to lose yourself to the finest selections of house, techno and disco.
Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM hosts a day party featuring Gilles, Boiler Room’s Thrist Tian and Standard Place’s Jon Rust. That night, Benji B hosts a Deviation party featuring Midland, Marcellus Pittman and Josey Rebelle.
DJ Harvey and Maurice Fulton host an all day pool party and Half Baked bring Jeremy Underground and Detroit Swindle to the island. Body & Soul celebrate their 20th Anniversary with a ten hour set from disco legends François K, Joe Claussell and Danny Krivit.
