SW4, 26th-27th August 2017, London

‘Quaint’, ‘lovely for a picnic’, ‘great for the Sunday morning rugger’ – these are all ways the delightfully well-educated and polite graduates that reside in Clapham might describe their Common during the summer. Aside from one particular weekend.

On the 26th-27th August, the poor yuppies won’t know what’s hit them as SW4 descends on the Common to treat us to some of the world’s best electronic dance music.

Spread across ten stages, this year’s line-up has some serious offerings. We’ll let the headliners speak for themselves: Pendulum, Deadmau5, Tinie Tempah, and Knife Party.

What makes SW4 stand out is that it caters for all electronic genres in equal measure. For you house-lovers, you’ve got everything from the melodic side of things (Alex Adair, Bakermat, Sam Feldt) to the genre’s deeper and darker ends (Hannah Wants, Jerome Price, Dusky).

Techno-heads get good representation with The Martinez Brothers, Sven Vath, Marco Carola and Loco Dice all making appearances. As do all DnB fans with Camo & Krooked, Friction, Wilkinson, High Contrast and Netsky all stepping up. And that’s just scratching the surface.
