The theme of my photography project is the contrast between urban and rural life. While many people portray rural areas as backward and monochromatic, I believe they possess a rich heritage and culture. Life there is simpler and more tranquil than in urban areas, where our daily struggles are often masked by the convenience of modern technology.
Rural life exposes you to the pure, simple beauty of the natural world and the unique character of small-town communities. You experience the exhilaration of open space, breathe clean air, and enjoy healthy, nutritious food.
The goal of this project was to capture my surroundings from a new perspective. Like many subjects, once you start looking for something, you become attuned to its details. This skill is invaluable for photographers, who must simultaneously capture both the fine details and the broader landscape. I have tried to photograph some of these subtle beauties in my work.
