Update: ABODE have just announced the first ABODE Weekender, this weekend the 6th-7th August. Having rapidly matured in the past couple of years, ABODE has now expanded from their home at Studio 338 to unveil residencies across both the British and White Isles. ABODE has made waves with its invite only mentality, resulting in decadent and chic parties for which artists, venues, and audience are curated meticulously.
The same pedigree is to be expected from forthcoming dates at Sky Loft, Studio 338, Space, and Sankeys. With a record label launching later this summer, ABODE will go from strength to strength this season.
Epitomizing the team is resident Ellie Cocks, quickly crafting a rising reputation on the club circuit. With a passion to play no two show the same and a pioneering attitude behind scouting the tunes for each set, as remarkable as this topical talent is she is certainly not home alone.
Bizarre Culture caught up with Ellie to get her Top Five ABODE Tips:
1: ABODE is a ticket request party so you can’t buy these publicly! This helps keep a really nice vibe and the crowd inside the venue. Get your tickets early!
2: Get down nice & early to get the full ABODE vibe throughout the day into the night. This makes it a Sunday like no other!
3: To try and catch all the residents! The ABODE residents never fail to put on a proper party alongside the headliners who put their stamp on it!
4: Have a good dance on the terrace, long enough to catch the multi-coloured confetti that creates something truly magical and memorable.
5: Book the Monday off work!
